Someone on ebay is trying to get rid of it for £650! i thought it was only £300 in the states/ japan? i cant wait till rape hq price it! |

Gore-Tex doesn't make the material itself warmer, but it stops the wind getting in about you so you feel a bit warmer. if the air temperature is low though you will feel cold, you need a lining as well as the Gore-Tex layer, whether that lining be built into the jacket or in the form of another separate layer of clothing |

Gore-tex has nothing to do with warmth. It's to do with waterproof-ness. Gore-tex is a membrane whereby the holes within the material is so small it allows air to travel in and out, but not water molecules. So it's a very breathable material but at the same time keeps you dry. This however has been superseeded by eVent. |

I quite like these clothes with hi-tech materials. I like the Acronym stuff for the same reason, but the prices are just silly. |

The Visvim jackets are nice, however, they Acrynm range are soooooooo good and yeah shame they don't do smalls. |

Acronym. I think some jackets of Visvim this season come in Small... but not sure if they've just shifted down the sizing so instead of M,L,XL it's now S,M,L. |
