the chinos fit a bit small, but not as small as last season when you definitely had to size up.

hah i knew that mate in the end i'm not getting it, it's just too risky with the current weather in london. and if you say it's heavy, i can't see how i could make it work with winter + heavy rain. think i'll leave my euros for the louis w. capsule collection for APC next winter.

I'm probably gonna pass too mate. When I mean heavy it's heavy. Almost like a work out wearing it. Almost certain I'll pass in fact. AW soon plus I'm hopefully gonna get a few pairs of shorts in the sale for my jollies. Azores/Lisbon actually. Doesn't happen to be a factory outlet there does anyone know?

If I'm a medium in 1940's and placket shirts, what size should I be looking at in the 1950's and first shirts?
Cheers

Depends on your body. 1940s is shorter and more boxy which means in contrast to the 1950s which has a slimmer sillouette. Normally you should take also Medium in the 1950s (pit to pit usually is about 54cm). I do not own a First Shirt however if you are tall you might try a Large. Medium might be too small.

I'd avoid First Shirts. Found they fit really short on the body.
And nice one Dave
