first shirt is pretty short and is slim in the body.
i would say tts but if a 1940s/1950s fits you (not too roomy not too tight) you should go for your regular size Eye-wink

Thanks, appreciate it!
The reason why I´m asking is because I recently tried the first shirt jacquard dots navy in XL and it was way way too small ( I´m usually a L in all my other OL shirts and sweats and also not overweight ). Since the final sales is online now I´m thinking about ordering the indigo check and the only available size is XXL, which on the other hand would be the natural thing to do considering it´s the same shirt model. But you know, just doesn't feel right to buy XXL garments for obvious reasons Roll Eyes

you could give it a try...like i said, normally first shirt is pretty short and slim but tts, however OL sizing is messed up.

same style, same season, same size and same material (only different colour) but varied by two inches in the chest area Laughing out loud

My-Wardrobe 50% off with an extra 20% code - think they only had fatty sizes when I got mine though.

I've now decided I want the grey subalpino suit. In a large. Anyone seen it anywhere? ON the cheap? Tres have the trousers, but the jackets too small. Don't mind piecing it together from other stores. Needs to be cheap as though!

Has anyone got the melange bomber:

Is it wearable over a shirt for evenings out or does it look to casual/sporty?

Looks casual mate. I've seen it in end and it is quite thick and to be honest looks and feels a tad cheap.

i have that bomber and wear it all time over a shirt.
i don't think it's too sporty, it looks more like a cardigan with a 'special touch', especially closed it looks more chic than casual.
the jersey on this is super soft. you'll love it!!

'to be honest looks and feels a tad cheap.'
absolutly wrong ime.

i consider buying one of the roundneck knits in raw linen.

i wear a small in the shirts (1940s and 1950s) and they are neither body near nor too relaxed. they fit like they are supposed to be.
so i am not sure if i should go for a small or a medium. also i would like to know if someone that owns one of them would recommend it. i really like the look of it in fit pictures!

size up if you plan to wear a shirt underneath

yeah definitely size up on the linen knit, I´m usually a L and even the XL fits too small for me so therefore I did´nt buy it. The quality in pictures looks pretty thick but IRL they´re quite scattered and thin not to mention that they itch, but I guess you should wear a shirt underneath so. Cant really recommend it.
