Anyone had any experience with the jumbo shirt? Either this seasons or previous.. Always taken my normal size in OL shirts but wondering if it looks stupidly big

Sizing is a circular scale, sizing down 2 means you need an XL

not sure if it's a glitch or not, but three short sleeve shirts from the splash collection (blue chambray, white cotton, white linen) are now part of the sale at 60% on the OL site if anyone is looking to cop.

they have always been 60% off, just 'hidden'

Not true.

The Splash items were not on sale. I've asked them and was told that they were hidden because they have glitches going around on their website and that they work on this problem.
Also some items seem to be available while they arent and those are hidden as well.

Already posted a couple of links where this problem also occured.

Don't know how it is now, someone could try to cop one of these shirts. Maybe they are officially in Sale now Smiling

That may be right but Gitman is not that popular here at fuk.

There aren't many lables that catch my attention besides APC, Rogue Territory, Our Legacy, Gitman Vintage and Norse Projects. Especially considering that I registered for fuk because of OL Eye-wink

Trust me gitman is way ahead of ol qualiy and cut wise. OLs sizing is absolutely bothering aswell. Saying that illl keep buying their stuff and keep returning it bc of sizing issues.

quality and cut wise? like using tags as pocket squares and wearing flares?

Both lables have sizing issues and sometimes quality issues. However Gitman always has some really nice shirts but is too expensive for me because mostly none of the shirts that interest me get into the sale to affordable prices. Another problem is the difference between two sizes. Sometimes a Small fits my body and sometimes it is too small. The problem is Medium is always massively bigger than a Small at Gitman Sad
Anyway, the standard Gitman Chambray is awesome and has a perfect fit for me.

That is why OL is my brand to go at the moment. Thus far I experienced no quality issues and am satisfied with their products. However you are right about the sizing issue...that is something where OL makes me crazy if the same style, season and size fit completely different.

Gitman vintage shirts are cut horribly imho.

Tight in the chest, big in the shoulders and a silly flare at the hip.

I think that depends on the shirt. The normal oxford shirts fit horrible and as you say, tiny in the chest area. However the normal chambray fits great and the new polka dots were also good fitwise but too small and extremely tight in the shoulder area.

That is unfortunate because I like the Gitman collar for eg. To add something on-topic for this thread: after receiving my second 1950s (atleast that I own myself) I am still not sure which fit I like more, 1940s or 1950s?

thats wht i said - they were hidden. they realised they've messed up after we rinsed their splash collection one afternoon. but the collection wasnt even available in the webstore for full price, so those items were bound to go online with a discount at some point.

and why are we even talking about gitman shirts in an ol thread? ones made for a typical person who enjoys a pint or two, the others made for tall lanky dude who probably cannot do more than 20 pushups in one go.

Wondering how it fits compared to 1950's.
