phone unlock internet question

Ive just unlocked an old HTC desire for the mrs. She has an Orange pay as you go sim where u get free Facebook. The phone will not run the Android Facebook app. Is this because it requires an internet connection . Think her sim deal does not have internet just unlimited Facebook so will this only work ov the orange mobile internet Facebook app. thanks in advance for help with this bullshit. |
