So I have a photo I wanna upload to tinypic or imageshack, but when I do the colours lose vividness and fade. Is there any way to stop this happening? |

When you enlarge a bitmap it's always going to look a bit shitter because you're effectively stretching the pixels out. Upsampling might help a bit, depends how much you're englarging the image by http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,1858568,00.asp |

is there a way of enlarging a pic without the resolution messing up? Try a photoshop plugin called Genuine Fractals from this mob buddy http://www.ononesoftware.com/ afaik you get a 30 day trial and it works pretty decent! |

P.S. I'd be very grateful to anyone who can tell me how to do a graded fill from nothing to a colour. Only know how to do one colour to another... When you have the gradient tool selected, look at the options bar below 'File', 'Edit', etc. You'll see a sample of your gradient, click it and you can see the option for colour to no colour; it should be the second one on the top row. |
