Im not feeling it, I figured it was vuitton. I like what I've seen from how certain brands incorporated that indigo dyed patchwork style, most specifically porter classic. But between the hype, no matter how small, whether it be from vintage finds, to multiple brands incorporating it... This just really lets the air out of the trend for me. I always felt that it represented an under privledged - working class aesthetic, highly-functional, great craftsmanship, with apparent AND subtle details, all while being entirely unique to any other similar garment. which is why I like how PC adapted it, I mean they have a book about hobo fashion for crying out loud. Vuittons offering, to me feels unauthentic. LV can be described as nothing but a luxury brand. So to see them adapt plebian class items, into a particularly tacky looking iteration is just unappealling. Plus that big V is discust. |

Then again it could just be some kinda indigo dyed madras monstrosity for SS Agreed - hence my amazement. Nothing like how PC, Kapital and even Visvim/RRL have done it and the concept is just odd for LV. |
