For what?

If John terry is found guilty of racially abusing a player by the courts in his place of work, he will never play for Chelsea again.
Let's "kick racism out of football".

back pages of the sun today is lulucks and bare amazeballs.

barton could be sacked from his 81k a week contract at qpr.

spurs to offer balea massive 70 k a week to stay a spurs and keep him from the clutches of the worlds biggest clubs.

They are all out of contract. The mindset of players is different now. They would rather run their contracts down.
So therefor, you missed the drog at £24m

its a new way of earning big dough for players that are hard to sell in the last year of their contracts.
they see them out, and get a signing on fee instead of a for sale price.

They could have sold Boswinga for a fair few quid so i don't know why they would even think about letting his contract run out, unless they just like throwing money away Laughing out loud

They didn't "release" him.
He was out of contract. He doesn't want to play for them anymore.

Chelsea are set to release both Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa when their contracts expire in the summer.

you need to include Owen in that list too.

Bosingwa had an optional year left on his contract, Chelsea decided not to enforce it for some reason. Seems strange because he's still a pretty good player to have on the bench.

No you don't. He didn't cost A penny and was on a pay as you play contract.
