would love RVP at united but I still don't see this solving the main hole in the united squad, that being the lack of a word class creative centre mid and a world class defensive centre mid, 2 players to run shit in the centre of the park is what they lacked all season,to play that perfect ball and keep possession , i think they are relying on anderson and cleverly being this but the chances of either of those 2 staying fit all season is unlikely at best It's not just last season, has been obviously lacking since the first CL final drubbing they took from barca. Don't know why this apparent 25-30m they've 'got' to spend on Lucas isn't put towards a decent defensive mid..surely worth having a go for de rossi / javi martinez, or someone in that mould at least. |

Am I Diana'ing myself here? Just been told by a mate who works with Jamie Mackie's cousin that he (Mackie) found out about the decision to let him go to Blackburn whilst watching Sky Sports News - if true, that's a terrible way to treat a player who was instrumental in keeping us up during the latter part of the Season. |
