Lot of stuff about the missiles on rooftops, but the way I look at it the safest place to be is at the missile site so when a plane gets blown away, you would be at the maximum distance from any of the raining death. http://www.lbc.co.uk/bow-resident-finds-unguarded-missiles-outside-flat-54423 probably should have not left this stuff unguarded though, "dummy" or not. |

Really? If there was an attack one of the targets would be the missile site, no? I'm not a lawyer but i'm fairly sure launching missiles from civillian areas is against international law. |

Its to stop "terrorists" dropping a plane on parliament or the main stadium. The streets will be flooded with armed police / SAS etc to stop ground attacks. |

The SAMs have a couple of mile range, but I agree that would be seriously the last chance scenario. |
