it seems theres loads of runners or wanabes (me Sticking out tongue ) on here so i thought we could do with a thread (nuke it if you dont agree)

i just recorded my first run 1.92 miles i know its fuck all but i'm dead proud of that! i've had a couple of little runs round the block over the last few weeks but other than that the last time i ran any where was to get some fags from the shop before it closed!

ps i feel great compared to 2 weeks ago when i thought i was going to die Smiling

dont you find just running mind numbingly, skull crushingly boring? unless its to somewhere, like a shop or a pub. I garauntee on your death bed your last gasp wont be
"i could've run more" prob could shaged more, shopped more, ate more, donr more charity work.
But run?
and before you start, if want to release feel good hormanes, ill do it in the proper way, it wont be by boring running.

i used mine for a couple of months then got pissed off with not being able to forward through mixes.. ie, when listening to a continuous mix and i want to forward through it, you cant whilst doing a basic run (time and distance).

You do it on grass on concrete? I wanted to take up skipping a while back but was worried about the impact of jumping on a hard surface repeatedly.

it is meant to be better for your legs than running, dont know why, you dont use your heels as much so that could have something to do with it.

Ive been skipping (no homo) for the past couple of years pretty regularly, cant stand running but skipping holds my interest. like others have said too learning the fancy stuff gives it something extra.

speed ropes are about a fiver from jjb. golds gym ones are good and dont get all twisted up on themselves.

one love skipping crew.

I would love it if people started skipping (like that) more often.

official answer is nike only wanted it to work with flash memory players, due to jpggers bouncing up and down there is a risk with hdd based ipods, doesnt work with shuffle as its got no dock connector and doesnt work with iphone/touch

I'm working with a similar chipset (nRF rang e)as is used in the nike+ part, this website shows the fun of making your own intercepting receiver so you can see who is using it etc.(not my website)
