Moving to London and I be working at Leicester square, so central line access is a must. Can anyone suggest places to live i.e safe, clean?

I was just looking to start a topic like this for some suggestions.

There was a similar topic from 2006, that I can't find now to link to, that had a couple of pages of suggestions. The places most touted were Clapham or Bethnal Green. I actually ended up living in Bethnal Green and have been for the last 11 months and if you want somewhere on the Central Line, but poster above is correct Leicester Square is on the Piccadilly, that's relatively cheap Bethnal Green is a good option.

But those were from almost 2 years ago, things change and as I am looking for a new place to move into with some friends I wondered if anyone else could pass some suggestions.

Staying in Bethnal Green is certainly an option. For what it offers the rent prices are pretty good and it's not bad for my commute to Oxford Circus. Not really looking at Clapham. Maybe it was a good place 2 years ago, but today it seems everyone is bloody living there or looking for a place.

Any fukers got some other suggestions?

Camden, Northern Line could be an option for OP.
