Thought we could do with a shoes/boot thread, as don't often see much discussion about them. At the moment im looking for some but nothing has really caught my eye. Anyone seen anything nice recently?

you're not as cool as you think you are so please give details of the items you post

I need some help from FUK´s experts.. Im looking for a summer shoe, low brouge kind a boot. Not to dressy, nor pointy. A little bit street, but still dressed up. A shoe that would work with jeasn and dresspants. Having a hard time finding a shoe that fits the mold.

I want something like this, unfortunaly i havent found these in UK7, so if anyone does, or something similar, youll win a free something.. BNWT NudieiPhone cover maybe?

mark mcnairy/trickers or the OL ones, go for suede if you want a more summer shoe, or if you want a cheap alternative, go for sanders or grenson.

Anyone knows a good alternative for these? They are sold out in my size (uk10)..
Black plain toes, I do also like the Trickers on Tresbien, but out of my price range
and would prefer not to have a suede shoe.

they are the OL x TB derbies, fit big, size down on them, they sold out in jan though.

edit; seems like they did a MM version too, they a tad big anyway also, not enough to warrant a size down though.

How do Sanders brogues fit? True or size down 1?

I went down half a size in Sanders and mine are a touch tight, could have done with going true. I do have pretty fat feet though.

After buying three pairs of fanboy Clarks, I'm thinking about washing and waxing an older pair to wear in this shit weather.Has anyone done this before? Could I just use normal beeswax or Barbour wax etc? I might wax my Belstaff too if I can use the latter.

Edit: looks like Sno-Seal is the bidnit
