Thought we could do with a shoes/boot thread, as don't often see much discussion about them. At the moment im looking for some but nothing has really caught my eye. Anyone seen anything nice recently? you're not as cool as you think you are so please give details of the items you post |

what's the score, do people just sit around the edge all day eyeballing each other? just a pub beer garden with a pool in it to cool down in. i guess it's because everyone is the same - there is no social dynamic - no once over 35. no kids, no families, etc. it's a singles bar pool where everyone is even behaving the same. no one looks like they're having fun |

I read an article in the Guardian about american black children being much more likely to die from accidental drowning than white/hispanic/asian etc kids. Generally due to a culture of seeing water as dangerous and the closure of cheap swimming pools in poor areas and it not being part of the national curriculum over there so there is some truth in the black guys cant swim thing but not over here. Yeah it was a cheap shot based on lazy stereotyping but it was pretty funny |

got some black dm oxfords and they're scuffed to shit - although the scuffing is making a layer of polish actually peel off, as opposed to just rubbing off. does anyone know if it'd come off with rubbing alcohol? would like to polish them back to normal, but the peeling won't go away with rub on polish, so would rather take all the polish off and start from scratch cheers |

I've had that happen to my DMs that were made of really shiny plastic leather. Chalked it up to the leather just being cheap and shit. Binned them in the end =[ |
