Seeing as its very sunny outside its inspired me to start looking for shorts. If I start now I might be able to find some by the summer. I saw henry/homer buy some from h&m which looked nice (only available in London though apparently Sad ).

So looking from some up to £40 nice shorts? I like maha ones but to much, looking for fairly plain cargo style shorts. Any ideas?

On the shorts front......Uniqlo have some Madras shorts in Oxford St, couple of different colour checks, nothing on their site as yet though.

I'm thinking dark brown, navy blue or black with white trim detailing.

They looks even more Carphone Warehouse in black! Was hoping for some light colours. Dark brown and black are too dark

As far as I'm aware they are the only colours.

Tempted to buy both pairs, I prefer low profile shorts as opposed to cargos with big pockets & tassels.

Anyone recommend anything?

They look spot on, shame they've only got a big size. I've got a fucking lovely pair of O'Neill shorts just like that but in beige, that I got from Brighton about 5 years back - still my staple shorts every summer!

(oh yeah, and ive just bought a pair of plain a&f from 'du tan' who kindly pm'ed me when he saw me saying i loved my camo ones but hated the c/w)

Lurve these - but not paying £250 for them (if it were sunny 11 months a year here I might consider it)

funny you should say that, they my faves too.
p.s every pair was bought in the sales in the winter...thats how you do it imo, worry about the future in the wrong season when its all half price.
