Size 4 clothes

Do you actually think they are size 4 though? Or do you think they might be slightly larger but people get tempted by the label size? If you get what i mean? Cos if a girl see's a 4 and thinks shit i can fit in that she's gonna be doing backflips. Or am i being stupid?? |

"Size 4" isn't a standard size though is it, it's like Medium or Small, ike MoB said you can claim anything is size 4, even a tent, it's up to each shop to define what sizes are. |

The size 4s I have seen are tiny and one shop assistants told me that anorexics are buying these clothes. Sometimes the sign says it is a petit range starting at a size 6 but the rail has size 4s on it. I don't think it is about re-sizing and selling size 8s as 4s. I really think smaller sizes are being introduced in shops. ------------- |

PLenty of birds who aspire to be a size zero, who wouldnt wanna be like victoria and nicole? |

i suppose its what way you look at it. Shops should cater for small sizes in the same way they should cater for larger sizes(which topshop have been accused of not doing). Just because someone is a size 4 doesnt mean they cant be healthy so you have to just get the perfect balance of the extra small sizes and the extra big sizes. |

PLenty of birds who aspire to be a size zero, who wouldnt wanna be like victoria and nicole? But why, 99% of men prefer women with a bit of meat on them (or at least 99% of the straight men I know do), so why starve yourself into being a twig ? And don't forget most of the sex goddesses of the past have been more of a fuller figure, Marilyn Monroe was a 16 FFS, not a 4. |

Size 4 is the elusive US size 0 . My sister is a size 6/8 and 5 feet 10 tall and she really struggles to find clothes to fit her . |

Oh and a girl my gf works with is going for this size 0 thing. Looks like shite and is always fucked. Finally caught up with her the other day and she collapsed. Went off to hospital in an ambulance. Not sure if there is anything wrong with her, will ask tonight when my gf gets in. |

i can't see how having a rack of clothes that caters for size 4 up to larger sizes will have any effect on a girl trying to lose weight and get to the smaller sizes. If clothes were only being sold in the smaller sizes then yes i could see it making a difference |
