hi there folks,

Just wondering what people perceptions were of Stone Island. Total ned wear or a serious fashion brand unfairly sterotyped?

I personally think some of their stuff is brilliant but I can't think of a label with as much baggage as Stone Island which is a shame.

Anyone got any opinions?

I know what you mean but i still like it.I have these plimsoles but I do seem to only wear them when I go to watch The Mighty Swans and they are not white anymore from all the rest of the Jack Army standing on them and that.

I think the jackets and outwear are superb. If you want similar quality / use of technical fabrics what about CP Company? Similar to SI without 'the baggage'.

yeah I've got lots of stuff by them already just wanted to know what you guys thought.

I leave the tag on having gone through a phase of removing it. Less plain that way.

Really liked the last few collections, they have a new store opening soon in W1 aswell so must be doing well again, at one point I heard four marketing was going down the pan.

Philip you going to pay the £700?

Aproo last sample sale was crazy busy, a lot of the SI went, though the CP line wasnt doing that great.

They've got one of the SS 12 Shadow Project jackets in store and the fabric is incredible. Really smooth and looks really durable. Guessing it's like the fabric TEN C are using?

They need to move it on a bit really - each season too similar
Stealth Goretex is lovely though

No don´t think so. The lined winter version which was like £1100 ended up in the sales on end and oi polloi, so if this one also does I think I´ll get it.

Depends if it will make into the sales, as a lot the younger lot are starting to wear SI now.
