Can't see it happening as Brown has said in the past he's not interested in the money and if they did reform he would want the rest of the band members to give all the money they make too charity....

Would love it to happen but just can't see it esp as the source is the "SUN"

So John Squire and Ian Brown have made up and that equals Stone Roses reunion? Seems slightly tenous.

I read an interview with John Squire in the last year or so and he said he'd moved on (from being a musician, not just from being in the Stone Roses)

Why ruin the legacy?

So what's your point? That they should do it for the money?

I'm sure IB has a comfortable enough lifestyle and does not need the extra money.

A tour i could deal with but any new material would be a massive error imo

im sure a million each would tempt even the most comfortable of stars for a one off tour. doubt any of them give a crap about the legacy tbh. A one of tour for a load of cash, why not.

who cares what the purpose is - there are tens of thousands who would pay top dollar to see them live - why deny them the opportunity if there's a market for it. if you dont want to see them, don't buy a ticket.

What an odd thing to say. There's a market for a lot of things. Doesn't mean the person/people in question should do those things.

Like Morrissey said about a Smiths reunion, "It would be pointless...I'm not that person anymore"

People move on. Squire has said that music is a young person's game

Laughing out loud could not givea fuck what morrisey says or said.

the point was, IF the roses reformed, every gig(s) would be sold out

i was genuinely suprised with Ian Brown live, its no secret that his vocals are not the best (pretty bad the night i saw himtoo), but the gig i went to at a small venue afew years ago was really good. Played some old songs and closed with resurection.

Heard on the radio ats not happening, all got together for a funeral, still, that could be a double bluff

saw him at another gig at derby uni for a grad ball, was total shit, did fear badly and a couple of his own songs, the tribute band was better.
