TFL email wrote:
Dear Mr Lewis,
As a result of Transport for London's £10bn investment programme, the volume of engineering and improvement work on the Tube network is increasing.
Should read:
We havent ever invested enough of your hard earned money into this service, and now can't stay open because of it.
This Northern Line weekend closure is becoming such a pain in the arse, 45 mins to get to Tottenham Court Road by bus, and 15 mins by tube :pissedoff:

TBH, it's not directly TFL who's fucking it all up, it's the 3 sub companies who run all the lines, "Tube Lines" being the worse (NL). Even worse than that is failed company Marconi-now called telent-now renamed again-about to get bought again- who can't carry out their contract work on time.

maybe Iain
Bueller, I was on the train before it failed on Monday night, over two hours stuck outside H&I, gone 1am when they were led out through the tunnels, the whole network is fucked, and 3 quid per single journey aint going towards helping fund a better service.

Well I think the staff should go on strike.
They haven't done it for a while and it makes the service far more enjoyable.

not forgetting the 7 week standard holiday and double overtime if they work outside their hours no matter what hour of the day or week they work.
