Did you read that off the Manchester clubs thread on Football 365 by any chance? Credit to YLAup

That spread like wildfire. It took a week to do a full circle and came back to me on another forum with people asking if I’d heard about it Smiling

Anyway, this is the latest photo from Twitter, and plans. Proper warehouse, looks the tits.

Hotel going above it in the near future. Can’t see it myself, look at the windows on it.
The only disadvantage is taking the party tram from Picc.

Good post. My mate just got a flat round the corner as well Cool will be annoying getting a taxi afterwards. 2 rooms again, wonder what capacity will be...

Thanks. I’d imagine similar. The floor plans were from the initial proposal of hotel and ‘entertainment space’ from last year, so whether WHP are taking up one or even two floors, I don’t know. Obviously they are limited to the space they have been provided, but there are a lot of pillars in the second room so maybe thats the leary social area? They are lucky to get the building - think it was close to a CPO (Compulsory purchase order) from the council to demolish and build a load of new developments. Even Gary Neville wanted to jump on the bandwagon and build a hotel/supporters club further up, but United rejected his plans Smiling (cool story etc)

New venue confirmed at Victoria Warehouse Cool

Transport arrangements look good, the free Bus back to Picadilly will be banterific!

Seems like 4am finish though? So maybe 10pm last entry is correct because wasnt it 12am last entry when it shut at 6?

Who goes to a club before 10pm...

Sure I have waltzed up to the old WHP after 12. Been that fucked a few times though that it could have been any time.

Opposition to Victoria Warehouse
Published 20/09/2010 | By admin
An application for a Premises Licence at Victoria Warehouse in Trafford Park has recently been submitted. Local Labour Councillors, Mike Cordingley and Laurence Walsh, have already contacted the Council on resident’s behalf to formally object to the application.

The type of concerns/issues that have been raised include: providing access to alcohol up to 4am for up to 5,000 people; concerns have also been raised about the lack of transport links from the site (given the location); and the potential noise and nuisance which could spill over into residential areas.

Kate said “I fully support the objections raised by the Councillors and I’ll be working with them, and offering any assistance they need, to make sure the Council is fully aware of the strength of feeling residents have against this application.”

Yeah, think that was on a previous app submitted by another organiser.
