This should be live and only £8, plus you dont have the madness like at carnival (carnival might be off this year)

For the next installment of 'Up On The Roof', we thought we'd stage a little ode to our favourite corner of the biggest street party in Europe, prescribing not just the talents of one Carnival King, Good Times legend Norman Jay, after the spectacular Easter Sunday launch party, but also Notting Hill legends Sancho Panza, with founders Matt Brown & Jimmy K-Tel spinning after an extended Good Times 3 hour set from Norman.

all you east firm, get to mcqueens in shoreditch on 30th june. grant nelson and joey negro, reckon that will be one of the best nights ever. that club is so fucking cool it hurts, and them two play the perfect music for a venue such as that.
ill refund any money anyone spends on going and drink if they dont say 'best night ever'. Eye-wink

Thanks

It's east as apposed to north but Bloc's 2nd night is definitely the hype night of that weekend. Last tube it after Camden: http://www.blocweekend.com/lineup/

Fabric on Saturday night is always good value. It hasn't got the scally contingent that Fridays have (much as I love and miss my DnB Sad ) I imagine there will be a few tickets for Bloc going cheap on Saturday *. If I wasn't out of the country that day I'd be going there.

Edit: *on the Gumtree

Luna City Express at Relay in London Bridge? It's only about 6/7 stops from Camden on the same line. The night is called Talk is Cheap, my ex-girlfriend's brother runs it, always been a good time!

Been Fabric 100s of times, thought it was regarded as being a bit shit now?

Owlix will put that forward for consideration, cheers.

Had a great night at We Fear Silence at Cable an thats on, transport in London such a hassle though.

It's all relative. I used to go when you could blaze on the stairs but those days are long gone from everywhere. Fabric is still up there imo. They continuously book the most cutting edge DJs but I'd be lying if I said I still went as often as I used to.
