Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg). See the Edwin denim fit guide.

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

read that naked and famous are making jeans with smells like raspberry and watermelon etc into the denim for people who dont wash them.
last six washes which they reckon is more than a lifetime cos some denim heads only ever wash their jeans twice in a their lifetime.

Was in the Mirror the other day I think... The raspberry ones are this season but they're planning more smells for the future Smiling

I'm considering getting a couple of pairs of jeans taken in at the waist but as I've gone down from a 34 to about a 31 I'd assume it would be very difficult to do properly given the fact the thigh and seat would also need doing too. Am I better off just flogging them and getting the proper size now?

Send them to the denim doc - pretty standard job.

For the amount of size you want to lose, in that many areas, unless you can go and get them pinned while you're wearing them I'd sell and rebuy. As well as the possibility they might not fit exactly how you want, they also might look shit by the seams.

It does seem like a lot of hassle to get them done and I'm very fussy about the fit of jeans, I could imagine just not wearing them if they're not right.

I know some people rate this alteration but it's so not for me. Fuck the old pairs off mate and treat yourself to some nice new ones now you've shed some weight.

Anyone washed / soaked a pair of non washed fluxus? Thinking of giving my 03's a soak as I'd like them a bit slimmer but not sure if I'll fuck up the wash etc?

have some straight legged jeans that measure 23cm at the hem.

could i get these tapered down to 20cm or would it look shit and too carrot like due to the width that might be harder to lose in upper thigh?

don't want to spend a load of money to end up with some denim jodphurs.

i guess what i am trying to ask is that is there a point where jeans are too wide to do a decent taper job?

The Denim Doctor does different kinds of tapering. I have had ones done where he has done it on the inseam to save the selvedge and by doing it that way you lose a little in the thighs too. Might work perfect for you.

They do actually smell strongly of raspberry, I hate naked and famous but at least this would stop my jeans smelling of wet dog.

They'll still stink, just with a hint of rasberry. Totally pointless gimmick

Sounds like something for 12 year old girls.

Looked at some grey naked and famous jeans but just couldn't wear anything with that name.
