Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg). See the Edwin denim fit guide.

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

Yeah mate, kinda thought the same but nice to hear someone else say it. Wore a pair of Edwin rainbow for 5 months pretty much non-stop for work but they got to the point where they had to be washed. Did a 30 minute warm soak in the bath a couple of months back with a bit of washing powder and a quick handwash at the end. Doesn't seem to have fucked them up as the whiskers and shit still seem to be developing, but reckon they're due at least another soak soon if only to get them fitting right on the waist again.

So when's the point when people say "Fuck it, I'll wash em regularly"?

Oh, and the more I think about it, the more I reckon the bleeding on the shoes might have a lot to do with me rotating them with another pair of jeans I'm trying to break in... Laughing out loud

Noble's jeans look pretty good and he washes them every month I think, its best to just leave them unwashed for aslong as possible though, mine are getting smelly (worn 6 months everyday) but I put them in the freezer and they didnt smell anymore. (no pikey/tramp)

I tried the freezer but found Febreeze worked wonders. As long as I sprayed them the night before and left them to air on a hanger they were fine. Useful bit of advice, if you wake up in the morning with a hangover and them still on, don't spray the crotch with Febreeze when you're wearing them as that gives you an authentic "tramp at the DSS for an interview" smell all morning... Eye-wink

I think it's the loss of shape with stretch round the waist and knees that piss me off a bit. I've taken to giving the knees a quick steam iron every week or so as I'd rather risk losing the honeycombs than them not look and fit right.

One of the greatest human and technological achievements (right up there after putting cheese in an aerosol can), but you can't fail to notice how none of the pictures show a single astronaut on the moon wearing denim.

How long you been wearing them Nick?

Had a pair of Black Samurai's on the go now for nearly a year and decided to push it 18 months before a wash.

Nah don't do it Nick, it will be an underwhelming experience. Minimum 18 months on any pair I've even done!

about 12 months i reckon. my loose ones have been the hardest jeans to wear in I've ever had, wear them almost every day and they're finally starting to sit right (another reason not to wash them i guess).

How do Nudie Thin Finns fit compare to Edwin ED-71's?

Gave my PS a second wash the other day, they're about 16 months in or so. Been to the Denim Doc once but need to go again due to crotch rippage. Took some pics so we can get sufu:

I'm pretty short (5' 7") and these are a 28" or 29", but I wouldn't say I'm really skinny. Wore them for a nearly a year from raw before soaking them the first time.
