Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg). See the Edwin denim fit guide.

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

How do Nudie Thin Finns fit compare to Edwin ED-71's?

Thin Finns are more tapered, leg opening 19cm http://www.nudiejeans.com/fitguide/#fit/thin-finn
ED-71 are straighter, leg opening 20cm

I know how ED-71's fit and what the openings were like, just wondered if anyone knew how the two compared throughout the leg.

Nah don't do it Nick, it will be an underwhelming experience. Minimum 18 months on any pair I've even done!

Yeah, and even though your jeans might be clean, doing that first wash will make you feel dirty inside - think of it as a transferral of the dirt from the denim to your soul... Eye-wink

Just got my pair of vis 04's back from the doc, slimmed down + breathed new life in to some wicked sams with a button hole rebuild, pocket bag fix and a slimmer cut.... proper nice job as usual - 2 pairs of perfect jeans set me right up for a while. Cool

Which Sam's Dee?

Just had my latest pair hemmed and lost a lot of taper unfortunately.

a pair of USA's that I've been wearing for about 6 years now. had them done on the inside so a few fade marks stop at the inside seam but retained all the outer seam fades - really nice jeans, dread the day they die.

Dee, what knee measurements and hem measurements do you ask for?

I normally pin them on one leg but fold them carefully and mark the parcel and note to say so. I normally take the inside seam so expect to lose a little on the rise. I ask for the minimal amount normally at the crotch and tapering to around 8.25 inches at the knee and down to around 7.5 to 7.75 inches at the hem. Pinning them first and taking measurements and include a little diagram or note has worked best for me. I always allow a little + tolerance though as wouldn't want them back too skinny. Always chain stitch hems since he got the machine. Have sent him so many pairs and now got some perfect fitting jeans, worth spending that little bit extra, esp if you can pick up a decent 2nd hand pair and turn them around to something nicer.

Looking for some light denim/washed. Fucking vague I know, looking for some samurais or omnigods or something on that scale. Any ones going cheap? dont mind if anyone is getting rid of theirs either. Want some slim cut if possible, 32s please.

Anyone bought the supreme slim rigid jeans? Thinking about copping as they are same price as apcs, but dun know how they fit/fade ect. Would like to know if its worth going for them over apc's Smiling
