Acne - fit true to size

APC New Standards -size down 2 or even 3 from true waist size

APC New Cures - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

April 77 - size down 1 or 2 from true waist size

Dior raw 19s and 21s - have vanity sizing and are labelled as two sizes smaller than actual size

Edwin Nashvilles - size down 1" - quite a different fit to most jeans out there though (massive rise, loose at thigh and comparitively tapered at the leg). See the Edwin denim fit guide.

Julian Red - fit small, so maybe true to size on raw and possibly size up on non raws

Nudies - size down 1 or 2

Raf by Raf - true

Ring - true

I wanna get a pair of 501's altered to fit like my levis 508 tapered, leg shortened, smaller opening, tapered, smaller around the thigh + knee etc. Where's good to go for this? Also how much will it cost me, roughly?

Any pre-distressed jeans similar to these PRPS available for slightly less (also if possible selvage)?

i have (incredibly) big thighs, so much so it puts me off getting some decent jeans because they'll inevitably just rip at the crotch anyway.

my friend has recommended i take a look at sharp begnt, does anyone have all the measurements for these in a 33?

cheers.

Go to nudie jeans website, they have a fit guide for every denim and measurements for each size!

When he adjusts the waist, he takes apart the seam inbetween the back pockets and pulls it in from there. Apart from bringing the back pockets closer together, does that not make the seam ride up your arse when being worn?

Got a pair of nudie Average Joe dry denims (not selvedged) ready for a first wash/soak. They have stretched a bit since purchase and are about 2 inches bigger now. I was thinking of doing a hot soak for a couple of hours to shrink them down a bit, but due to nudies being sanforized will this really work? Anyone got any ideas on this. I have already trawled though a fair few threads regarding this, but ive not found a difinitive answer. Any views?

They will shrink a little but you'd be lucky if they shrink more than an inch, if that.

My Non-selvedge Slim Jim's shrunk quite a bit when i gave them their first wash but it was in all but the waist.

Recent pairs seem to be more true to size... I'd size down 1 tbh

So I just got a pair of raw Visvim 04's - they're a waist 32 and they were very tight when I put them on - wore them for a couple of hours and they're starting to loosen up. My question is whether I should do a pre-soak so they don't loosen up too much. But if I do a pre-soak I'm affraid that they won't crease as much as if I rocked them totally raw. What to do?

Thanks

Pre-soak them if you're ever planning on washing them. All unsanforized denim should be pre-soaked or washed before wearing but I'm sure you'll get people telling you not to wash them for some ridiculous amount of time.

Good quality denim doesn't shed all it's indigo when it touches water and creasing won't be a problem if you air dry them (preferably outdoors with a breeze)

This.

Always always pre soak unsaniforised denim.
