Ah you poor thing it's horrible. I get septic tonsilitis from continual throat action which is nasty. Lots of sick.

I would say have them out - they are reluctant to do this on adults becauae the risk of haemorrhaging is significantly larger so it would have to be fairly recurrent bouts before they will consider it.

If you want them out but the doc doesn't think it's quite bad enoughto warrant, then maybe get your work/college to write a letter stating that it's affecting your attendance and quality of work - that's what someone who works with me did and she was able to have the operation after that!

had mine out years ago, but they said best thing is to have things that are net spicy or too sweet or sour! and nothing to hot and cold either in other words,
room temp soothies for you for the next couple of days!
