Read about this in the Metro this morning, basically Topman have got five designers to produce their own take on the staple white shirt, designers include Siv Stodal and Richard Nicoll, they have also done their own Topman Design one. Went in today and had a look and was pretty disappointed, the Richard Nicoll one is probably the nicest from the front but has a fucking ugly star sown on the back. Siv Stodal one is waste which is a shame as I usually like his stuff. The article in Metro said that Ute Ploier was a protege of Raf Simons and the influence is pretty obvious with his take on the white shirt looking like a Raf shirt from last season with an elasticated waist band. Just wondered what people thought of them...

All they needed to do is make a great fitting well made shirt to steal the show with this one. A white shirt doesnt need a new take on it imo

God, exactly. I was intrigued when I read about it, but the 3 designs I saw up on the site earlier this week were just awful.

it's all going to depend on the quality and fit, which you cant tell from the pics..
I think it's a good idea.
I wish I had kept one of the black kim jones/top man oversized hoodies with the acid coloured lining in the hood..

On the topic of white shirts I quite like this-

http://www.luisaviaroma.com/ecnew/Collections/SchedaProd.aspx?Outlet=False&CodStagione=46I&CodCollezione=D0W&CodArticolo=27#

Where can I get a good look of these Miu Miu shirts online?
