Not sure whether it is just me, but after using mIRC for ages for albums etc ive recently starting to use torrents and struggling to get download speeds of around 50kbs let alone the 100+ on mIRC, whats the minimal amount of seeders that you would download from to get decent speeds, any info would be great.... |

I'm not really sure, but even with the Lost Season 3 torrent the other day which was probably the most downloaded torrent in the world at the time, I was still at download speeds which didn't go that much over 60kbs. My torrent never gets green status though, which I think is a firewall thing. |

More seeds the faster it goes? I use newsgroups. Far better. But I guess what you get what you pay for. |

It always seemed a bit hit and miss when I searched for something to d/l. I'm sure I wasn't using them right, cos I know loads of people rave about them. |

Thats the feeling i get with torrents that i'm not using it right, with mIRC i think its really good bit limited hough if you want anything that isnt in and around the charts |
