Why is the brand called Visvim, while your shops are called Free International Laboratories?

Hiroki Nakamura: From the beginning, I didn’t want the brand’s name to have any meaning. I like the letter V, so I went through a Latin dictionary and saw “Vis” and “Vim” next to each other, and both had similar meanings of power and energy. I also like how it looks visually. Even upside down, it forms two mountains and two dots. Our team is called a laboratory because we focus on materials, patterns, leathers – any element that can improve the product. Our approach is similar to what scientists do, so I came up with the name Free International Laboratory [F.I.L.].

It's Japanese.

Be thankful it didn't end up Arpeggio Turnip Gasket or some such Eye-wink

Depends if you are planning on wearing it primarily as an insulator. I wear Vis jackets in M and my pollard is M. I think they also vary in size from season to season.

If i recall correctly, the last pollard that fits true to size was 2008 (or pre 2008?!).
Since the version with a yellow lining proportions has been whackd up (smaller to size).

do they mark down? I'm sure they said no to me ages ago otherwise would have spent some $ with them!

If it's who I think it is (can't access dontlurk links at work), then they do mark down, without asking.
