Are they new or a resole jobby? Either way, look good.
Quite like the plain toe sole but seems like it could wear down really easy.

Thats my fave sole pad.
but does anyone else feel a bit cheated that they use a sole that can be brought from stimpsons for 60 quid on such high quality shoes. pissed off they dont do their own sole like on other vis shoes.

it's just crepe - similar to those yuketen chukkas
not sure if they'll be re-soleable

I've changed a yuketen chukka sole and it cost me around £60.
really shit sole though, gathers too much dirt and shit all over it, after around a weeks wear, still really nice though, would cop if they did my size.

i don't mind the discolouring of crepe that much - when you got the yuketens resoled did they look pretty much the same as before then? the crepe i have seen was quite thin in the local simpsons and the the soles on them vis look like there is two layers of sort?

I got mine done by some bloke who specialises in Loake and Trickers, he made them look pretty much bang on, guys really good, defo recommend, in Nottingham though unfortunately.
He said timpsons or whatever was absolute shite and proper critised them and said they were not fit to handle expensive shoes, obviously he wanted the custom but was true to his word.

Can you message me the details? I study in Nottingham and will need to get some shoes done at some point this year.

They had alot of old stock, noticed a pair of ancestors in there.
