I wonder if they have done anything about those sloppy cuffs, doesn't look like it.

Spandau in my experience. But others say they fit small.

Elmendorf has always been a grail...I wonder how much it is this season. I think it fits normal for Visvim, but the fit is intentionally loose. Seenmy and Rirawin could shed some light on it.

Unless the hide has been changed I think it will be around 200,000 JPY as before in December. So via proxy it would be around £2000 to get one over here from Japan. Out of interest the last time Slamjam in Italy sold this jacket for FW09 In chromexcel horsehide they wanted 2700 Euro.
Seenmy has had both M & L so he is best placed to say the fit but I think its usually cut slightly smaller in the shoulders and even a large only measures around 57cm p2p otherwise I would have one by now.

57cm P2P seems very spot on for a L size.
It usually uses Horween horsehide, right ? That burgundy color is fantastic.

I have Visvim shirts in a Large that measure 56-57cm p2p, but this is outerwear which I would like to layer up into, my bickle and nomad from FW 08 are roomier and can be worn over winter layers which personally I prefer. Depends on body shape and personal preference.

shirts always have bigger P2P than jackets (except for all the shell jackets like PFD, Totem, etc)
I usually wear size 4 for Vis tops (shirts and outerwear) and my TOJ A2 measures 55cm at P2P and the fit is great. I am sure size L would work for you. Never ever seen a size 4 that popped up at Y!, otherwise it would be mine as well

the upcoming elmendorf is actually a big hike in price from previous seasons'....drumroll...399,000JPY. oddly enough, the leather (horse hide i believe) this time around is a good bit thinner that that of previous seasons. apparently that was done intentionally to make it a little easier to wear/move around in without having to break it in.

it's just a guess and i could easily be wrong, but it could very well be possible that the next elmendorf after this release might end up being a pre-order only piece. after seeing the recent trunk show for 13SS, most of the leather/suede pieces were limited to pre-orders (along with everyones favorite 3,000,000JPY robe). with the way things are going, i wouldn't be surprised to see a big part of future collections being so.

they had either a horse or cow hide leather in the RO shop in paris, was amazing. would like to have a stiff leather (no homo). would feel like armour

The hand dyed version was expensive in comparison for FW11. Seems quite bizarre the chromexcel horween version released in December was only 200k now if the new price for a thinner hide is confirmed @ 400k. Will be interesting to see this release in October.
