Where's it for £899? Can you not get a pricematch? To answer your question though it's £25 per extra year. Seems decent value to me.

it's £899 at 1staudiovisual and £999 at m&s, it is the 40w4500 and it's been discontinued so they don't have it in the sony centers any more, but even the guys in the sony centers agree that it is a much better tv than the replacement! so i'm gona buy one while i still can

Sony and LCD at that price. I'd walk away.

Panasonic plasma for that money. http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=PANA-TXP42G10B

then get john lewis in sheffield or manchester to price match.

Did this on my last telly, well worth ringing around. Best thing to do is just ring John Lewis and find out if they stock the telly your after first, then ask them to price match the cheaper vendor.

Restrictions is the other vendor has to have it in stock and on sale in a high-street shop, ie, not an online only store.

it won tv of the year 2008 and as since one numerous other awards, the guys in 2 sony centers said it was on the same level as the z series which is £1600 and to snap one up if i could still find one basically they are that highly thought of that they have been discontinued and the price seems to of gone up Puzzled

i've checked john lewis online already and they don't have any left
