Struggling here - given the option which would you go for? Chanel Superleggera
Rolex Submariner Date
Panerai Luminor Marina Automatic (strap can be changed for a black leather one too)
This isn't a bragging thread by the way I am just genuinely stuck and after opinions.... |

I like the Panerai best lookswise but maybe the Rolex is more timeless. |

I like the Panerai best lookswise but maybe the Rolex is more timeless. Pretty much what I was thinking - I know the Panerai is this years must have watch but I'm sure something will replace it next year and it will just be the watch to have of last year. |

Is it true that Rolexes don't "tick" ? On a cheaper watch the second hand moves a second at a time, in general the better a watches movement the more times the second hand moves. On a Rolex for example the second hand would move many more times so it looks like it's constantly moving rather than ticking. |

i got that submariner and i would say that out those choices....but if i could choose again or even swap mine, i would go for a gmt master II......look the same, but the bezel just screams quality and old school rolex to me. |

I'm going to be studying peoples watches from now on, I'll be able to spot the peasants with their ticking watches. |

I've still got a Citizen watch that was like £50 and that ticks constantly. |

i tell you what you should do Jimothy, buy a u-boat left hook 53 chronograph limited edition numbered 559/1000 and spend the other 3/4 of a panerai on a nice holiday or something
