Ant, it was probably my mate Nathan. Met him on his way there yesterday.

To continue the Burger theme...

'Smokey & the bandit' burger - 2 burgers, Jack Daniels bacon, baconaise, cheese, deep fried onion, sauce etc.

+ sweet potato/potato fries

Yes mate, the food itself is the only redeeming factor about that place - working my way through the menu begrudgingly.

Dont get me wrong definitely recommended for the food, just the staff seem to be forced into putting on a TGI Fridays style OTT attitude and they cant seem to bring even two or three orders out at the same time... in its previous incarnation as a 'pop up' fair enough but as a permanent (albeit 3 days a week) venture they need to improve a bit.

Just a general dickhead vibe to the place really

I love a good burger and I don’t care who knows it. Sometimes, when we have a really good burger we want to sing its name from the rooftops, only I'm a bit scared of heights and the roof might have fucking pigeons on it.
As much as I dont want to see them dying, I still dont want them wrapped round me when Im on a munch of a beloved burger.
It was with much anticipation that me and the slut set out for Meat Market, and with much frustration that we got lost and wandered into an industrial garage by mistake. We were half starved when a friendly local pointed us in the right direction, and it was with beef-hungry zeal that we climbed the stairs of the Jubilee Hall diner.
You order your food from the counter, once inside (we both went for the famous Dead Hippy burger with fries cos that cunt always copies everything i go for) and take your seat to wait, accompanied by bottomless soft drinks or non-bottomless beer. You’re surrounded by double entendres and soft innuendo and we made a mental note to never take our Grandma there. Our food arrived with fries so perfect we actually commented on them, buns softer than soft things and meat so delicious you practically wanted to take it home to meet your parents. We had condiments on our faces and salt on our fingers, but boy, when we left we were happy.
7/10.
