heard mandem say www.dollargrills.com in farringdon does the op'iest burger in town. Meh. Wasn't that impressed by the burgers in Dollar Grill. They aren't awful but are really nothing that special. My mate had the Lobster & steak combo and it was pretty dire. Tough steak and rubbery lobster. Saying that, this was about a year ago. Never went back because of that. We ended up getting the steak / lobster and burger comped and a couple of glasses of Champagne free to say sorry though. Wouldn't go again. |

Workshop in Farringdon has the best burger in the area in my opinion. Burgerac says they're good, but fries fail though.

Yeah they are, you're right, most places I find to be a bit too stringy or fatty but this is just right...Absolute bargain at the price of £6! |

Had a burger at Dollar the other week, it was alright but very expensive for what it was. Meatliquor was much better value. |

Lucky chip is the best burger in London IMO, so much better than meat liquor |

Is this another, you cant book, you have to queue ? Got some young skins up this weekend and a trendy burger joint would do the treat. meat liquor looks good in the pics. Not interested in standing around for an hour though |

Saw a documentary about hotdogs on PBS a few months back and it got me thinking about the potential for gourmet hot dog stalls that didn't just serve up mechanically separated meat. |

Big Apple hotdogs do some pretty good dogs. Nothing on the NY ones but nonetheless best effort in London. Head to meat liquor at lunch time, no queue then. Avoid after 6pm if you're not willing to wait at least 30-60mins |
