coat like that doesn't look right with trainers and jeans imo.

Explain Evers - I can change the raws to black jeans but not sure whats wrong with the footwear.

PM Ruben's avatar for how long camel coats like that should be worn

based on those pics, that coat just doesn't suit you lew and I can't see different colour jeans or footwear changing that

it doesn't work with what you are wearing period. it looks like you've picked up the wrong coat. that coat collar can only work with a shirt or rollneck sweater and "smart" shoes/boots. if you dont do that look, send it back or flog it to mob

^ agree with this. it's not just the shoes, there's a disconnect with the whole fit, i think. they can all be nice pieces but not work collectively.

the jeans with that are a bit too rigid for that look. i mean you can get away with it, i wear jeans with my overcoat all the time but it doesn;t pop. starting to appreciate textures more. as NIdo said you need wool trousers with that and the butteros would look great. looser, less constrained

Fine with a crew neck. All about the colours though.

Dark denim and brown suede boots/shoes would work best with that type of coat for the bottom half

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I'm not a fan of the OL Hobo coat.

Looks like something Arthur Daley would have worn.

It looks ok there but is severely limited in terms of what you can wear with it.

why not just keep it if you like it and add items that suit it better later?

the tbs bloke is a 6ft2 and would make a bucket of shit look good on his back. it doesn't work in real life and the only reason it was purchsed was because it is OL and in the sale.

if you want that type of coat, get one with standard lapels

I wouldn't say its limited but i think its a jacket that would suit smart wear... so maybe a nice pair of brogues rather than vans, and a shirt...
