Quite a shallow observation, as I was talking to a friend the other night who works in a very well known London department store and he and other staff notice certain 'types' of customers who buy certain labels. Therefore before he worked there he thought of Lacoste for example as a decent brand, now he has been confronted with middle aged casuals and chavs who dont speak but grunt has sput him of the brand for life. He would never wear it. Ever. Same for some of the ladies there would never where dolce gabbana as it is full of tangerine coloured wags.
Anyone else on here never touch a brand not because of the clothing but because of the connections with it? Just a thought.

The usual ones that are probably going to be mentioned here, but aslong as something has no visible branding and fits/looks nice I'm not that bothered by the label any more

Modern Supreme, The Hundreds, Crooks & Castles, Ten Deep, Norse Projects, Acronym. Basically anything European full stop (don't want to associate myself with anything European because I hate the culture and people) and anything that had come out of America in recent times. Now I don't consider the UK a strictly European nation by way of its culture so brands like Silas never bothered me, even though its Jap now. I don't like Japs on a personal level either but I resepect their craftsmanship, eye for detail and ability to recreate the best styles and somehow make them even better. I do own a Rolex thats made in Switzerland but I like it because of its positive associations by wearer, James Bond, Magnum PI etc

why is it unintelligent to not want to associate myself with lazy, unhygenic, incompetent, corrupt, arrogant and self entitled people (Europeans) ?

There's so much I could say about this post, but i'll keep it simple, Europe is a bloody big place with a hell of a lot of very different cultures, you are thinking of France.
