I'd say Penfield fits standard/true to size but I'm a firm advocate of outerwear being big enough to layer (excessively) underneath. You could probably size down to get a slimmer look if you wanted. |

Are Penfield down jackets genuinely warm then? Like comparable to a North Face or Berghaus jackets? |

The trench I have for work is very warm for what it is, quite possibly as warm than my TNF bodywarmer and I'd say better quality for what its worth. |
