I haven't personally but heard they can be a bit tight on discount but there's no harm trying.

At least I think it is.

Hands are wrong shape and too short - think they are supposed to rounded at the tips

The first give away is the Sub dials which are aligned to centre which were only done on early models, this is a 2000 + with engraved rehaut. I think the bezel markings are incorrect too with all those black triangles, could be wrong.

Lettering looks a bit shabby in cosmograph, s and m a bit odd to me. I also think the lugs look a bit short and rounded and the hour markers look a tad fat.

Not terribly fashionable, but I quite like it nonetheless.

As I said, it's not fashionable. I need summit to watch Tron wearing.

Yes it is
Hands are wrong (shape, length)
Subdials are wrongly aligned, so are the numbers on them
Bezel markings are wrong (triangles, bold numbers, continuous rail)
Index are not properly aligned
Litterature on the dial is off
Daytona should close to the subdial
swiss made should not be that near to the 6 hour index
Lugs look too short
Engraved rehaut does not feature the serial number at 6 o'clock
Bracelet stitching is really bad

all rolexs are automatic and self wind, but still require you to wind them (i think all, probably wrong)

i know it's not a rolex, so will most likely be scorned, but thoughts on this? not a huge fan of rolexes and want to get a decent watch that will last me a while (it's a manual winding 1994 reissue of a 1964 Carrera)

lovely

Jordan - are you sure thats right? surely daily wear will be enough activity to wind the movement?

Matt - I think the Tag is v.nice.

I am a little confused too Jordan. I've never had to wind a Rolex, just set the time and put it on (I guess if it has sat for a long time unworn you might need to just to get it going until you wore it about for a few hours?

Jordan - it is weird, power reserve should not affect the date jump speed.

Matt - Tag looks nice but I feel like it would have been even better with a longer minute hand.

Self-wind means it winds itself when you wear it, if you wear it everyday you wont need to wind it youself. You should only need to wind by hand if you leave it too long its stopped.

Fancied one of these for a while now. The Newson design is still fresh.

There's a competition to win this watch on the FUK homepage. It's hideous.
