A Celtic fan went over to Thailand to help with a childrens charity. Whilst he was over there he started posting videos of the kids singing celtic songs (if your interested google 'thai tims') and it escalated from there.
Celtic fans have been raising money to get the kids over to perform at a match and the club have done this today to help.
All pretty innocent in my opinion.

the guy that had all those kids singing celtic songs whilst he strummed his guitar?

SY, might have been innocent how it started but there's no doubt that Celtic have seen the serious commercial opportunity it presents. Like the mistake says, don't be naive.

The guy who went over and got the kids singing got murdered last year.
The 'Thai Tims' only came to light over here in the media when the lad got murdered. It is innocent.

The lad who got murdered wasn't the one who started it all. He just went out to help for a few months. He also played for Celtic's youth team when he was younger.

Have they shut Rangers down yet? Can someone let me know when they do, please.
Thanks.

Pretty much the only "big" fees paid to non-Old Firm clubs in recent years has been the Old Firm swooping in for young Scottish players. If Rangers aren't allowed to do this for 12 months (aside from the fact they have no cash) then Celtic will have less competition and so be able to pay less.
On another angle, Rangers look like an even less attractive investment to the potential investors with an inability to recruit players over 18 for next season, especially considering that all of the current players had low buyout clauses inserted into their contracts for this summer as compensation for agreeing a pay cut recently.

Noble, only odds I could find (on Celtic to win 10 in a row) were Paddy Power at 6-1.

Name 1 player in the SPL who could move for over £1M just now? It will have no effect whatsoever IMO.
Celtic's best player at the moment is a freebie (or near enough) who was average in and awfull Aberdeen for 2 years. Their last SPL purchase of £1M+ was Barry Robson, Jan 2008.
Rangers best player is a freebie who was awfull in an awfull Aberdeen team for 3 seasons. In 4 and a half years their only SPL deal of £1M+ was £1.5M for Wallace from Hearts (not even sure they made all the payments).
Collectively they've put £2.5M into the SPL over 4 years
Edit - Celtic signed Stokes for £1M in 2009
