Going Beni/Barca and don't wanna take a load of cash in case I get too drunk and lose it/tent gets robbed/jump in the pool (no friendly fires) or sea with it in my pocket.

So do any banks offer free international withdrawals? If not, do they all charge the same or are some cheaper than others?

Longting to have to change up travelers cheques whenever I want monies. + same thing goes for losing them/having to carry them around/getting them wet.

Go into our bank and ask is probably the best bet mate, (no pun)
pretty sure it varies bank by bank but there is always a hefty charge from withdrawing from a cash machine.

most banks just charge a 1.25% commission or something on withdrawals.

Nationwide is your best bet.

Doubt Barclay's are gonna point me in HSBC's direction when asked who's cheaper to be with when withdrawing cash abroad!

Regarding nationwide - i opened one ages ago, never got around to using it. They started charging, right? I did a few searches and it seems it's still one of the cheapest ways of using an ATM abroad? Also, some people have reported some ATMs in the states to not even be charging yet?

Went to Barca then Beni for the last two years...Took money out in Beni and I don't remember getting raped. The exchange rate is shit anyway. The difference between 1.13 and 1.1 is pretty minimal (for example).

I always just take my debit card and withdraw money as I need it, unless your planning to spend thousands the difference in exchange rate (if there is one) is negligable.

I find you spend less this way too.

if you've only got a nationwide cash card its still free anywhere, the debit card has charges in some countries, theres a list of countries and if they charge there or not on the website

In some countries the fee for withdrawing varies depending on where you do it, just for you info.
