thought I'd look around to see what other camp short are out there and I saw this at goodhood Eek

why the pocket? can imagine its a heritage piece but there's possibly a reason it's heritage and not used in modern shorts.

Didn't someone say on here it's so you can put a pillow in it for comfort when cycling?

They did a pair without that shit pocket as well, think the YMC site and Porter have them.
