Yeah true , lot of dj's are using the 404's in there live sets now a days tho. Looking at getting a MPD24 to work with reason fro cheaps tho.

yeah man for midi, mpd's or launchpads are the way forward for a basic live setup, those korg things you slide your finger about on are also decent for a little post tinkering
