Wish there was a cobbler equivalent to the denim doctor.

As the suede is very soft , even an invisible mender/tailor can have a go at it. Just use charm and convince them that they will bve doing you a huge favour.

I think sometimes high end designers don't use the best quality materials as in materials that will last the longest. They use materials that will give the exact look they're trying to achieve. For example, I've heard that rick tees develop holes really easily, no doubt a tailor would blame 'low quality' cotton.

Have no idea whether it would work but might that leather/suede super glue stuff work? I got some and it seemed decent on what I tried it on. You could either directly try and glue the suede back together again or place a small piece of suede lining inside to help strengthen the mend and reinforce it the glue job - it would be inside and out of sight. Anyway, it would be a cheap and easy solution to try if all else fails.

I've had one pair of visvim. Logo came off the heel after 30mins indoor wear, tongue ripped on day two, laces need tied up about 4 times as they are far too long. Never bought visvim since. Ironically my assumption was high quality materials constructed badly.

Are there any other decent invisible stitch menders in London aside the one on Thayer street? The price they've quoted me compared the size of the hole is ridiculous.
