Anyone recommend a top notch dry cleaners in central London? Want to get my Junya varsity cleaned, but a bit worried about taking it somewhere that'll balls it up.

'Twins' on d'arblay street has been reliable for me, even removed a red wine stain from a marl grey sweater yesterday.

Had a pair of trousers altered by Franco last week. Split on thigh area on first wear. Also the hem isn't great, shouldn't be visible on front of trouser but he got lazy so thread can be seen.

If it's crotch repair, Peter Tailor on Lexington street is good. Green door opp Andrew Edmunds, just bowl straight in and it's on the first floor. Little hispanic chap.

I've used Franco and Candilio and both weren't great/consistent. Have used these guys twice (waist of jacket and trouser taper and shorten) and been impressed. Bit more expensive though.

You can check UK Tailors they are located in central London and in their website they have a Price list for men alterations so you can have an idea of prices.

Around a score I would say for a standard tailor?

Tailor I use would charge around £30 but that would be all measured up, etc - they generally do a thorough job. I guess the going rate is more £20-25.

Anyone ever had the lining changed in a coat?
One of my coats lining is like a regular cotton, so it pulls the sleeves up on your jumper if you put it on, if that makes sense. Normally linings are silky or a material with no friction. It annoys me.

Does anyone have any idea which tailor in London would fix my Ten C Field jacket? After only about 30 wears the cuff has ripped where the velcro fastening is.

Anyone know of a clothes ateration place in London who may have experience of Japanese clothing?
In short, recently bought a noragi but while the body is good, the sleeves are too tight. Rather than simply selling or trading it I'd like to see if I could take out the seems and add some "boro" styling to it and some soft denim panels to widen them. Long shot but if anyone has any recommendations, I'd appreciate it

I'd be contacting Ten C about that one. Price they charge it should last better than that.
