Overall opinions of son of stagg? I'm in London next Friday and the dude on the phone said I could have my jeans hemmed and chained in 15-20 minutes. Saves postage/waiting and I'm in London anyway. Sound alright?

I went, they are good, but can add up to be pretty expensive depending on what you want doing.

Think if you ask nicely and they like the cut of your jib then they do them on the spot or at least on the day. Have done that for me and never used this i live outside of london bollocks.

I had a pair done whilst I went off for some lunch. I had phoned before hand to explain that I didn't live in London and we'd originally arranged for them to post them up to me when they were done but whilst I was there the bloke said he's do them within the hour.

Has anyone got experience with an alteration place that is good with tricky materials such as polyamide? My local dry cleaner was too scared to do it incase he damaged.

Cheers

Might be a bit of a stupid question: If the waist has been taken in on a pair of trousers (36 > 35 inch waist), is it possible to reverse this and take them out again (35 > 36) ? If so would it be an expensive job?

should be fairly routine, i'd say. will affect the cut though.

excuse the old waywt pic.
Can someone recommend a tailors that will reduce the length of this jacket to thigh, taper the arms/take in shoulders slightly and maybe finish with a curve hem at the back.
Also how much might this cost?
Thanks

Go check out the tailors in carnaby street, they usually do this kinda thing there. They could charge you more, you gotta be so good at bargaining.
