Best place to get a boxy shirt taken in abit? Shoulders are fine since I'm quite broad shouldered just want abit of a slimmer cut

Fashion Work rooms in Holborn/Covent Garden might be worth a visit

I just had some casual trousers made much slimmer with Fashion Workrooms - quite a fiddly job as other people wouldn't touch it. They are spot on - exactly what I wanted. They seem pretty busy and it was a few weeks turnaround, but very good job. Best going to see em and chatting stuff through rather than emailing

Yes, but phone first if you want something tricky done as they specialist staff who aren't always on site.

Can anyone recommend a place near Victoria station or Balham / Clapham?

Just to have some belt loops removed (Laughing out loud) so I don't think it's worth making the trek to London Fashion Workrooms - who are excellent and my usual choice.

No, and they charged me £12 for hemming recently.

I have phoned for quotes on more difficult stuff and they often say they need to see it, which I think is fair.

Got a whole load of Uniqlo oxfords that I never wear because I feel that they are too long and blousey below the waist to wear untucked.

Anyone have any luck with alterations to remedy this?

anyone recommend a specialist suede tailor in London? Looking to make a jacket fit smaller without altering the appearance.

Going to try and dash to London Fashion Workrooms tomorrow before they close to have a suit jacket altered.

Looked back over a few months in here but can anyone recommend another option that is open later or closer to Victoria? Thanks

Usually around the £30 mark to replace the main zip.
More if numerous zips.

Anyone had a shirt shortened? I have seen some nice Oxford cloth button down shirts but they are cut long (to be tucked in). A custom one is £70 more where length can be altered but surely a £20 job from a tailor?

Came across this site yesterday http://www.darnanddusted.com/ Think I saw some knitwear on there.

I've never used them before, but yesterday I emailed to see about them fixing a pair of jeans. Knee blowouts.
