depending on how full the cut is you might end up with it looking a bit odd,if you make it too tapered, particulary if the pant has quite a long rise

Went to get my chino's tapered, but the tailor said it couldn't be done as they have a double stitch seam. Is this for real? Is some kind of dart the only way to taper in this case?

Put a picture up, I think he's just being lazy as its more work for him (if it is what I think it sounds like)

Got this on both seams. Does look quite difficult to take apart to be honest.

I had a pair of Acne jeans like that and the tailor did the job for a little extra cost, it's perfectly do-able as they look fine now.

Its a flat felled seam, it can be done but its more work.

You could try taking them to other tailors if your one won't do them, as it is possible.

I dont recommend anyone uses Flannels tailoring service.

They fucked up two pairs of my dior jeans.
Took them in to get the crotch patched inside the leg and they got butchered.

Then shouted at me and tried to throw me out of the shop, when I had told him they didn't do what I wanted.

I said they had ruined my jeans.
The shop assistant replied 'they were ruined when you brought them in. they are worthless. I wipe my shoes with jeans like this'

Then charged me double the price we agreed or he wouldn't give me the jeans back.

I sent an email around the press department, the stores and to the managing director.
He called and refunded my money.
Still really bad tho.

Havn't got a pic of all the work, but this is where they patched up the crotch on my umc's.

They're at a different tailors getting repaired.
I showed him the work they had done at Flannels and he was confused.
