guy at work today was calling the tailors spastics and retards because the stitching on the hems of his jeans was an ever so slightly different shade of grey, so i was like sorry i'll get it fixed for free for you, you can collect them by the end of the day, he said will they actually be ready by the end of the day , i said yeh ill take them there now, come back at 5.30, he said ill come back tomorrow then and went you know if they arnt right i dont want them and you will refund me. C-U-N-T. was shouting at his girfriend for getting him the wrong length in the first place too.

I'd stay well clear of the place on Kilburn Lane, Kensal Rise if I was you. Took a very expensive suit there which he f'd up. No apology, no money back, just a lot of abuse. Have to try and find someone to fix it now.

Have since learnt he has a rep in the area for similar things.

I've used a guy called Raffael Candilio a few times.

He fully altered a nice suit I bought when I weighed a couple of stone more than I do now - jacket shoulders, sleeves, body & trousers - tapered a little, waist and length, and has taken in the waist on a couple of pairs of jeans and tapered them. I rate him - he just pins and chalks it up by sight which made me a little nervous at first but everything I've had done has come out perfect and not too expensive either.

He's on the little side road opposite the soho theatre.

pretty sure i already know the answer…

its a weird alteration i think, but i have a jacket that fits perfect apart from that it's a bit too loose on the back/ shoulder area, can a tailor take out the excess without messing up the jacket?

a good one can,it would just depend if the jacket is of a traditional construction, there is a guy out west who I was reccomeded for seriously complex stuff,he is expensive but very good, did the guy in covent garden move?I need to get a few pants tapered after xmas.

any advise on this appreciated…

got some trousers with quite high rise on the seat / crotch… Is it possible for a tailor to drop down the crotch slightly to allow more room for me to be able to wear the trousers higher on my waist and free up some space for my genitalia (no homo). Is this worth it? Anybody else had anything like this done? would this in turn dramatically affect the leg length?

Not sure if it's worth doing but I do really like the trousers they just sit quite low on my waist at the moment because of the rise. just want to gauge how straight forward this is. cheers.
