If a person is interested in coming to amsterdam March 1th through 6th, I'm interested in renting out my room which is as central as you can get.
It's for two people and three nights max and would be 40 euro a night. PM me for details.

Is this Hostel in an impractical location (next to Oeverpark)? Just want something cheap as its a stag.

Not a great location as it's a bit of a hassle to get there outside public transport hours

edit: nevermind, ferry runs 24/7
so in that case, close enough to central - bit of a commute but manageable

That is indeed a very good location, walk distance to the ferry and the ferry takes you straight central. Only in the night the ferry goes once every halve hour or so.

Any good bars for stag / lads?

Would like to find somewhere slightly more interesting than the inevitable Irish Pubs / cheese places.

Perhaps a beer hall style place?

camping at dekmantel festival in two weeks, but don't have a tent and only have carry on luggage. Can anyone in amsterdam check whether amazon prime now delivers tents to Het Amsterdamse Bos, please?

I think you'd be better off just buying a tent in a store or on bol.com. They do next day delivery on items in stock if you order before 23.00 and have an english (beta) website.

Cheers for the above, don't think we have anywhere to send it.

Still don't have a tent and leaving Thursday. Is there like an Argos option in central Amsterdam where your purchase the item online, and collect in store? Or central (cheapish) tent shops?
